An international conference was conducted by Center for Strategic Research (SAM), Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SAM) and Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies (GFSIS) with the topic “Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey The Future of Trilateral Cooperation: New Perspectives and Challanges” on 16 March 2015 at Tbilisi/Georgia.

The meeting was held with participation of Directors of the aforementioned institutions, Prof. Ali Resul Usul, Dr. Alexander Rondeli and Dr. Ferhad Mammadov; Gigi Gigiadze, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Mikheil Janelidze, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development and Gogita Gvenetadze from Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia as well as honourable participants.

Throughout the meeting, enhancing regional security and trilateral cooperation in the changing geopolitical era, new perspectives in economic cooperation and transportation, opportunities for trilateral links along the East-West “Silk Road” were evaluated.

The all sessions have been concluded with Q&A sessions were the above-mentioned participants shared their ideas as well as suggestions and responded to various questions from each other.
