Turkey and China have been considered as new global actors in the changing global power structure with their growing economic and political influence in the world politics. Thus Turkish and Chinese perspectives toward world affairs are critically important for understanding possible ways of collaboration between new actors on a variety of issues including re-structuring United Nations, transformation of Middle East, Iranian Nuclear crisis and the future of Afghanistan. Roundtable discussion with the participation of leading Chinese and Turkish scholars enabled us to elaborate and explore mutual challenges and opportunities in this critical conjunction of the history.
