Center for Strategic Studies under the Presidency of the Azerbaijan hosted an international conference titled “Azerbaijan – Georgia – Turkey Trilateral relations: Vision for the Future” in Baku on 5th June 2017.
With our Acting Chairman Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mesut Özcan, Prof. Dr. Muhittin Ataman from Yıldırım Beyazıt University and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayça Ergun from Middle East Technical University attended to the said event and made presentations.
Research Centers of the three countries (our Center, Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies) had met in Baku for the first time (2014), in Tbilisi in 2015 and afterwards in Ankara (2016) for a third time. Fourth meeting again in Baku held also in the 25th year of our diplomatic relations with Azerbaijan and Georgia after the dissolution of the Soviet Union, enabled participants to discuss on mutual relations, regional topics and energy issues.
