A workshop was held between Center for Strategic Research (SAM) and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) in Ankara on 30 October 2013.

During the workshop, rise of East Asia and impacts of emergence of the region on world politics, Turkey and China’s policies towards Middle East and their specific relations with the countries of the region and political, economic and cultural aspects of bilateral relations between Turkey and China were analyzed. Moreover, the current crisis in Syria and the possible ways of solution were evaluated.
The all sessions have been concluded with Q&A and comment sessions were the above-mentioned speakers shared their opinions as well as suggestions and responded to various questions from each other.
