Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kibaroğlu

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kibaroğlu received his bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University in 1987. He received his master's degree in Economics from the same university. In 1996, he received his PhD in International Relations from Bilkent University. He did postdoctoral studies at the University of Southampton in the UK in 1996 and at the Monterey Institute in California, USA in 1966/1967. After returning home, Prof. Kibaroğlu started his academic career at Bilkent University, working as Asst. Assoc. between 1997-2003, Assoc. between 2003-2011 and Prof. after 2011. In 2004-2005, he taught as a visiting professor at Harvard University in the USA. Between 2011 and 2014, Kibaroğlu served as the Head of the Department of International Relations at Okan University.  Since July 2014, he has been the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences at Istanbul MEF University. His research interests include proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, Middle East politics and Turkish foreign policy.
