In this volume of the Perceptions, Yusuf Turan Çetiner formed the conceptual explanation of nuclear deterrence. Vitaly Naumkin’s article proposes multi-layered analysis of Russian-Iranian relations both fot present and the future and it focuses on fundemantal component shaping bilateral relations such as world politics, regional interest and trade relations betwwen those countries. Salahi R. Sonyel adresses the critical issue in Turco-Greek relations which is disinformation produced by negative activities and campaigns especially by Armenians. Paul Kubicek looks into Albenia’a collepse in 1997s and onwards and seeks possible ways to reconstruct it properly. Then, Muhatir Ahmet points out the sensitivity in terms of maintaining relations between Afghanistan and Tajikistan by considering the role and impacts of regional powers in South and Central Asia.
Halil İnalcık draws attention the special state tradition and role of Türkiye as an interlocutor between Europe and Middle East. Fatma Güven together with Jonathan Warner focused on multidimensional problem of Cyrprus and prospects for its resolution. Bülent Gökay explains the motives that create regional rivalries and energy and economy insecurity in Caspian region. Ali Suat Bilge stresses the controversy related to the Fener Greek Patriarchate that started in 1997.
