Volume XV Spring - Summer 2010
In this issue, Mahdi Mohammad Nia discusses Iranian foreign policy with a theoretical approach from a "Holistic Constructivisim" perspective. Nur Köprülü, together with Umut Koldaş, examines the resurrection of Palestinian identity in divided societies through the examples of Jordan and Israel. In her article, Shafa Qasimova provides a comprehensive analysis of the legal aspects surrounding the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict, examining the potential invocation of Article 51 of the UN Charter for self-defense by Azerbaijan in response to the Armenian occupation of Nagorno-Karabakh and adjacent territories, within the broader context of international peace efforts. Adina Borcan takes the complex concept of Balkan identity and examines its boundaries and manifestations within Romanian cultural specificities through an interdisciplinary approach.
